chipotle bowl

Oh hey hey it’s Wednesday… it’s time for another “What I Ate Wednesday” with Jenn from Peas and Crayons!


Here are my eats from Tuesday. They are pretty boring but totally standard in my life haha.






Work Out

I ran 3/4 miles to warm-up before tackling a 45-minute spin class this morning.  I burned 414 calories so it definitely got my heart pumping.  I also did a new 10-minute abs workout that I can’t wait to share with you on Friday!



I finally had the chance to try Attune’s probiotic chocolate bar after hearing great things about it.  When I saw it at our local Kroger I grabbed one to try.  If I am going to take probiotics this is an amazing way to do it.  I tried the milk-chocolate crisp and it was SO good!  I might have to incorporate a few of these into my diet 😉


Home-made “Chipotle Bowls”.  I think I finally perfected a marinade that both Chris and I love.  Stay tuned for the recipe on the blog soon :)  I am pretty excited about this one.

And just because …

Chris came home from work yesterday with flowers “just because”.  This was a noteworthy moment in our house.  I can count on one hand how many times Chris has given me flowers so for him to do this is kind of a big deal.  I have a pretty awesome husband 😉

Emmie chowed down on anything we gave her but I didn’t snap pictures this week.  #momfail

  1. How nice of Chris! That must have been a wonderful surprise. I take probiotics – they’re added to the multivitamin I take. But I’d take a chocolate bar with them over that 😉

  2. I take a probiotic everyday and really notice that I feel better if I do. I don’t eat dairy, so I am missing a lot of the beneficial bacteria. I take them everyday, because that’s how long the good bacteria strains can live in your gut.

    I’ve never seen the attune bars, but if I did I would be interested in trying them.

  3. I wonder if my Kroger has Attune products, I need to remember to check because I have heard such greatness. I used to take a probiotic via a pill, but now I get it from yogurt. But those chocolate dipped bar looks yummy.

    Love that you got flowers just because. But we all know, it’s because you rock!
