Happy Fitness Friday loves!! It’s been another great week of workouts over here
Before we get to that though I have say I am SO excited for the weekend!! My step-sister Kelsey is coming to visit from Fort Benning for the weekend
WOO!!! On top of that, we are going to the beach tomorrow with Victoria and then hitting up the Richmond Hill 4th of July celebration with Heather and my new friend Alex. It’s going to be a great weekend full of friends and family!
Now, on to this week’s workouts …
MONDAY
I started off the day with some yoga in my entryway …
And ended my day getting my butt handed to me by the folks at D1 Sports Training in Savannah.
TUESDAY
Tuesday morning I had no idea how sore my legs were going to be and ran 3.7 miles. I also did Tamara’s Upper Body Boot Camp workout. Later in the afternoon I met a friend at J.F. Gregory Park to go for a walk. We ended up walking 3 miles bringing my total for the day to 6.7 and I felt it.
WEDNESDAY
Holy DOMS people. My legs were SO stiff and sore. I went to the gym with a plan to run and lift weights and that quickly morphed into walking only to try to loosen up my legs. Luckily it worked and I felt a lot better leaving the gym than when I got there.
THURSDAY
I finally felt better yesterday and tackled this 20 minute HIIT workout on the treadmill.
After running I did an upper body circuit and was a hot sweaty mess.
Overall it was a great week. I am going to hit the gym for one more workout today and get ready to enjoy this weekend
What was your favorite workout this week? Any fun plans for the weekend?

My favorite workout this week was Julie Fagan’s 1000 Rep circuit workout from her blog, Peanut Butter Fingers! Talk about getting your booty kicked… I’m still paying for it! Have a great weekend

My favorite workout was a spin/abs class I did this morning at 6am! Nothing like waking up at the crack of dawn to get in a good sweat sesh! Ps I love your watch, where did you get it!?
It’s the Polar HT40 heart rate monitor … you can get it online or in my Amazon store here: http://astore.amazon.com/foofitandfam-20/detail/B00604JMUO
I was going to ask the same thing about the watch! I would really like one so I have a better idea of the calories I burn during my crossfit workouts!
It’s the Polar HT40 and I = LOVE it! You can get it online or I have it in my Amazon store here: http://astore.amazon.com/foofitandfam-20/detail/B00604JMUO

The treadmill HIIT workout looks right up my alley. Just enough that I know I can do it, but definitely a step above the HIIT workouts I’ve been doing. I need the challenge. Definitely going to give it a go. Thanks!

I need to try your treadmill HIIT; I’ve just started running and can’t always get outside to do it!
Pinning away!

OMG … I thought I had put the link!! I am SO SO SO sorry
I loved the workout and definitely want to share it. I fixed it in my post
My fav workout this week was my tempo run on Thursday. At first my legs felt like lead but by mile 2 I felt like I was gliding. 6 miles later I was done but wanted to keep going. I love workouts like that!

My favorite was a Fusion class at my Pilates studio. It’s a mix of cardio, light weights and the Xerciser (similar to a reformer) The instructor zeroed in on our glutes and Holy Moly! it was effective! Looks like you had an awesome week! Love your blog!
That sounds awesome!
