It was SO funny watching Emmalyne and Caleb interact on the computer. They desperately wanted to reach the other. Luckily they will be playing in person at the end of the summer
I can’t believe it is JUNE already!! Where has this year gone?? I can’t help but love June because it’s my birthday month! WOO! Accepting gifts until he 16th 😉 JK … Anyway … happy Friday everyone! That manes it’s time for another Fitness Friday post! This week was pretty decent for workouts. Some of them came from walking around Disney. Others came from the gym. Overall I am satisfied
So far I am going strong with the Runners World Run Streak! I thought I would share a couple thoughts on it … I see the streak as a fun challenge to do, however, I am going to listen to my body. I think rest days are really important and if that means I walk a mile one of the days I am ok with that. I take Em and the pups on a walk for active rest and I see no shame in including that as part of my streak. If I start to feel run-down from running … then I’ll stop. Plain and simple.
One of my favorite workouts from this week was the chest and triceps super set I did. My triceps are relatively weak so working on them has been a priority. Plus anything upper body is awesome for tank-top season 😉
I am SO ready for this weekend. Tomorrow I have a spouse function for Chris’ new unit and tomorrow night Chris and I (and Emmalyne) are going out for our anniversary Super excited to head downtown and check out another one of Savannah’s amazing restaurants!
