Holy moly you guys … I feel like I have lived in a blur for the last 48 hours! Ever since touching down in Florida and getting back to Georgia I haven’t stopped going. Last night I had about 20 wives over to my house to welcome Chris’ new battalion commander and sergeant major wives to the unit. It was full of fun, food, and good fellowship. There are an awesome group of women here at Fort Stewart and I am excited to get to know them better!
This week was also the first week of Best Body Bootcamp. I have only gotten through 2 of the workouts but I will be doing one today and both Saturday and Sunday to catch up. It’s also time for another Fitness Friday!
Day 1 of #bestbodybootcamp started with upper body super-sets and 20 minutes of HIIT. The super-sets had the first exercise go to fatigue and I FELT it.
I took the day off Tuesday because we were traveling home! We left for the airport at 6AM and I walked into my house at 9PM so it was a LONG day.
My legs were SMOKED after this! I ran for my 20 minutes of cardio at a 9:36/mile pace. Then it was on to legs. One of the first exercises we did was a wall sit. When was the last time YOU did one? If it’s been awhile I encourage you to do one today for #FitnessFriday … it’s seriously such an awesome workout!
I had every intention to hit the gym in the morning but I honestly just didn’t have time given everything that I had to prepare for last night.
Today I will be completing a strength workout, core, and cardio to catch up a bit! I also have an awesome group run planned for Sunday. Overall I am happy with my first week of Best Body Bootcamp and look forward to getting back into a routine now that I am home
