Sick Day

Emmie is sick or teething. Either way baby girl has a fever. We spent all day yesterday snuggling and rocking … which are two things Emmalyne NEVER let’s us do so we know she’s not happy. I plan on calling her doctor this morning so we can rule out an ear infection. Either way I am exhausted. Seeing my baby sad breaks my heart. However, I am selfishly soaking up the extra snuggles since she hasn’t let me rock her to sleep since she was 6 months old.
SO we are taking a break from really blogging today and resting up. See you tomorrow for Fitness Friday!

Poor baby! That’s crazy she doesn’t normally let you rock her. Sweet that you now get to, too bad it’s not for a very good reason.

I remember when my baby was really sick once. I sat in the rocking chair for about 8 hours. He barfed on me a lot. I felt so helpless. He was so tiny. Now, that baby leaves for college in 2 weeks. I will miss him. Snuggle while you can.
