Oh my goodness … I can’t believe it’s Wednesday. The last couple of days have been LONG days full of meetings on Fort Stewart. Chris’ brigade commander and his wife were in town so we had a ton of leader meetings and social events to attend. EXHAUSTING. Lucky for me, Yon was in town so I knew that Emmalyne was in great hands while mama was busy
Since it is Wednesday, it’s time for another What I Ate Wednesday with the lovely Jenn of Peas and Crayons!
BREAKFAST
Yon made me a delicious spinach omelet with some fruit on the side. I am seriously being pampered having her here! Already dreading Friday when she leaves
WORKOUT
I ran 3 miles and then did a CrossFit WOD in the garage. Killer.
LUNCH
Tuna and whole-wheat saltine crackers. Quick, easy, and delicious.
SNACK
I had a 3-hour leader meeting in the afternoon. Luckily some snacks were provided. Fruit, cheese, and a little salami held me over and kept my eyes open
DINNER
Leftover Korean food. Delicious bulgogi with some fried rice.
And remember my bookshelf project? Well it’s DONE. Just a reminder as to the before:
And the after:
I can’t express how much more I love this room now. It is brighter, happier, and just cleaner in my opinion. The accessories pop more and things just look finished. LOVE.
Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!
What’s a DIY project you did? Favorite snack from the week?

Love the bookshelf, girl! There’s always some way to spice a piece of furniture. There’s a piece I need to do as well.

Isn’t it amazing how color or even a little change can change a room completely? I recently repainted a wall and was like wow, this is like a whole new place! Perspective and fung shue (sp?!) make all the difference! Your bookshelf is adorable!

The bookshelf looks AWESOME white – I love it! My husband installed a fireplace and built-ins and hung our TV in our living room. Link below to the before & after
Unfortunately we were only able to enjoy it for a few months because then we sold our house, but if nothing else, we like to think it added value and was a good selling point!

I get so nervous to paint things because it feels so permanent, but your bookshelves look amazing! Great job

Your bookshelf looks awesome!! I love the Play Outside sign. There are so many projects that we’ve been meaning to do around the house or that I’ve half started. We need to set aside some time to finish them!

I love the bookshelf; it looks amazing. I didn’t even really notice the accessories in the original bookshelf, but they look awesome in the white one.
It is crazy what a little paint can do. I really want to paint a few things in my house but I haven’t gotten the courage to do it yet.
Our one and only DIY project so far was our kitchen backsplash and it turned out great.

Great job on the bookshelf!! I don’t think I’ve ever attempted painting furniture… but I enjoy smaller projects, like homemade placemats or baby blankets.
