American Flatbread Organic Pizza: Making Healthy Cooking Easy
| February 26, 2013 | Posted by Madeline @ Food, Fitness, and Family under Reviews, Sponsored |
This week I am in training from 8:30AM-2PM on Fort Stewart. I am taking Master Resiliency Training (more on that another day) and Em and I are gone all day long. Yesterday I realized how my meal planning is going to be even more important this week. But let’s face it … sometimes all the meal planning in the world can’t always save you on a weekday night when you get home late and your kiddo is hungry. It those for moments like those that I like to keep healthy cooking options on hand in the freezer ready to go. American Flatbread sent me a couple of their organic pizzas to try and I am so glad they did!
These pizzas are fast, easy, and delicious. They are made using 100% organically grown wheat and top of the line vegetables, herbs, and cheeses. They don’t contain any preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.
The Twisted 6 Cheese is right up Chris’ alley. It has asiago, smoked cheddar, mozzarella and sage cheeses along with red onion and parsley. I’m not a huge fan of onions but might have to make an exception for this one! The Sliced Tomato & 5 Cheeses has mozzarella, smoked cheddar, sage and asiago cheeses with ripe tomatoes. Easy and refreshing!
I will say that both Chris and I like a little more substance to our pizza when they are a meal. Load them up and veggies for me and meat for him please! However, these pizzas are a great addition to a meal or as a crowd pleasing appetizer. American Flatbread also makes the following organic pizzas: Sun Dried Tomato & Mushrooms, Tomato Sauce & Three Cheese, Ionian Awakening, Vegan Harvest, Cheese &Herb, and the Revolution.
You can find American Flatbread organic pizzas in supermarkets, health, and gourmet stores nationwide. Check them out for yourself and see that you can have some convenience without completely compromising your health goals. You can get a $2 off coupon HERE.
What healthy options do you always have on hand for nights where you’re too busy to cook?

I don’t like frozen pizza but American Flatbread is seriously good stuff! We have been to one of their actual restaurants and it’s heavenly.

That pizza looks very good. We usually also have Trader Joe’s Organge chicken on hand for quick meals as it’s super fast to cook and throw in some brown rice.
