Sweaty Saturday

Did you think that I would skip recapping my week in workouts? Think again my friends
However, sharing some simple tips to making healthy living a little easier was more important yesterday. Have no fear, in lieu of Fitness Friday we will just have Sweaty Saturday!
MONDAY
Started my Monday with an easy yoga class at the gym and a CrossFit WOD of 3RFT:
15 Push Ups
15 Pull Ups (modified)
30 Deadlifts
30 Box Jumps
TUESDAY
I started my day at the gym with a CrossFit WOD. It was AMRAP for 20 minutes of a 400m run and 7 push-ups. Since I had to do 400m repeats this week anyway it worked out perfectly. Before the WOD I ran a mile warm-up, completed 7 rounds, and then ended with an additional 3x400m repeats to reach my training requirement. WHEW.
After the gym Em and I headed to Awakening Yoga Studio for Mommy-and-Me yoga. I need to dedicate an entire post to our experience so far but we love it! Emmalyne did better this week and even did some of the poses with me. Progress
After Em’s nap we met my friends at the park for a 3 mile run.
WEDNESDAY
I had just enough time for a 20 minute run on the treadmill and a CrossFit WOD before I had to get Emmalyne from day care. I covered 2.14 miles for a 9:20/mile pace. The WOD was:
20 Front Squats (40#)
30 Box Jumps
40 KB Swings (25#)
50 Wall Balls (12#)
Later in the afternoon I met my friends at J.F. Gregory park for a 3 mile “wog”. Heather is 32 weeks pregnant and still going strong. It was a nice, slow pace and we just chatted the whole time.
THURSDAY
A nice 4 mile run on the treadmill at a 9:33/mile pace. Followed by 3 rounds of: 3 power cleans, 6 push ups, 9 squats.
FRIDAY
Active rest day. Took Em and the dogs on an easy 2 mile walk in the afternoon.
Overall I am satisfied with my week in workouts. Today I have an intermediate yoga class and some gym time with Chris. Tomorrow is an 11 mile run! Only 2 more long runs before the Augusta half. WEE!!
What was your best workout this week?

What a great week for you! These posts always push me to keep moving– I still have some of those pesky baby pounds to lose! Can’t wait to hear about Mommy & Me Yoga– sounds so fun!
Looks like a great week of workouts! You rock mama! What kind of jogging stroller do you guys own? How do you like it?

Stopping by from FFA. Great summary. I only worked out twice last week as I was just getting over a bad cold and sinus infection. I hope to get back on track this week. You are a great inspiration.
Hope you’re feeling better!
Oh my goodness, your friend sure is a machine! At 32 weeks pregnant I could barely get up the motivation to get off the couch, much less go for a run! Anticipating your recap of “Mommy & Me Yoga” too, sounds fun!
She is currently my hero
It looked like you had such a great week of workouts! Em is so adorable! (:
Thank you!
Looking forward to hearing more about Mommy & Me yoga!! Sounds awesome, but I’d be scared my little guy would go bezerk the whole time…does that ever happen?
