WIAW

Oh hey hey Wednesday! I love Wednesdays for a number of reasons. One, I volunteer at the hospital on Wednesdays and it’s quickly proving to be an amazing experience. Two, it means we are halfway to the weekend
And of course, number three, Wednesday means it’s time to link up with Jenn of Peas and Crayons for another fantastic “What I Ate Wednesday“!
Egg + egg white scramble with salsa, fresh fruit, and a slice of bacon. Pretty standard around these parts
SNACK #1
I figure this week I would show you my meals and snacks in the actual order I ate them. I had a GNC Total Lean 25 shake in chocolate peanut butter after my workout at the gym and before mommy-and-me yoga.
LUNCH
The fact that Uptown Deli is right by Awakening Yoga Studio and i was starving after class is a bad situation for my wallet. I stopped in to get my favorite chicken salad sandwich on multigrain.
SNACK #2
A delicious and nutritious green juice! I am still loving my juicer and Emmie is reaping the benefits too. I make enough for both of us and she sucks it down after her nap. Love it! #DrinkYourGreens
SNACK #3
Still loving my homemade trail mix. I grabbed a couple small handfuls throughout the afternoon.
DINNER
Another restaurant recreation in the form of homemade Chik-Fil-A courtesy of the lovely Maria. LOVED it and her sauce is bomb. I am loving recreating my favorite restaurant meals at home. First Chipotle, now Chik-Fil-A. What’ll be next?
There you have it! A pretty good day of eats if I do say so myself
Have you recreated a favorite restaurant dish successfully? What was it? Recipe?

Your breakfast looks yum.
Oooh jealous of all of your eats, but that Chik-Fil-A sandwich looks amazing! We don’t live near one so the only time I’ve ever had one has been in airports, haha!

That chicken sandwich looks so good! I wonder if I can make it even if the hubby doesn’t like pickles. I just recreated the Olive Garden Baked Ziti. Super simple, jar of pasta sauce, alfredo sauce, whole wheat pasta, 2 cups of mozz. cheese, 1 cup of shredded parm cheese, done! Serve with warm Italian bread & side salad and you are good to go!!

I honestly think WIAW is rlleay weird! But I like the way you do it, not showing us each thing you ate but sharing new products with us.Making a goal to eat more whole foods is a good goal. I fall into the same rut myself. I also think making weekly goals in the new year is a great idea!
