Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt 2

Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt

I’ve been raving about it on Instagram and Twitter for weeks now, so it’s about time I share my love for my Gabrialla maternity support belt here too!

Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt

The Gabrialla maternity support belt provides a medium level of support and is secured by velcro.  You basically velcro it under your belly and then secure two more straps towards your back (Katie has a video on how to put it on!).  The belt is supposed to provide both abdominal and back support and helps to promote proper posture.  It’s definitely a must have for running while pregnant for me!

Why I love the Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt:

  • Cost: On Amazon, the price is exceptionally reasonable.  You can get it for as low as $30.
  • Support: For me, it provides an adequate amount of support.  I am still running at 29 weeks pregnant which makes my heart happy.  I was starting to deal with round ligament pain more and more on my runs and this has helped substantially.  I also feel like it provides a good amount of back support as well.
  • Easy to use.  It is pretty simple to put on.  Also, because it secures with velcro, you can adjust how tight it is for a customized level of support.

I am actually borrowing my Gabrialla from my friend Heather.  Heather had her second daughter in March and wore it throughout her pregnancy and was running until the end.  Then Leslie Ann used it and worked out until the day she went into labor.  All three of us carried our babies differently but all of us LOVE the Gabrialla.

SO – if you’re pregnant, or thinking about becoming pregnant, consider getting the Gabrialla.  I am not sure if I would be comfortably running at this point without it.  I definitely wouldn’t be running at the pace I am without it.  Here’s to hoping it carries me all the way to the end :)

Disclosure: I was not asked to review this product and my friend bought it herself.  I just REALLY like it and wanted to share my love with you all and hopefully help another preggo out :)

  1. Great to hear you are still running this far along in your pregnancy! Something I always worry about is not being able to run when I get pregnant, so this make me feel really optimistic. I am bookmarking this for when I need it in the future!

  2. SO impressed with your running at 29 weeks! With both pregnancies I had great intentions of working out & completely let that go & got lazy. #3 WILL be different…years down the road! 😉

  3. Just wondering when you started wearing this? I am 20weeks and running without it right now. Experiecing pressure and some discomfort, but just slowing down/walking until it passes. I ran with my first until the day before delivery (!!!) but remember having my fair share of “bad runs” and what I thought would be my “last run” sprinkled in there too. Funny how each pregnancy is different, isnt it?
Love your blog! Going to check out crossfit Mama here too. thanks!

  4. I started following your blog not long before my husband and I started trying to start a family. I am an avid runner and had been priding that I would try to maintain running my entire pregnancy. After a horrible and uncomfortable 3 miles last week, at 25 weeks pregnant, I found this particular post and promptly ordered my support belt. I ran with it for the first time this morning and was soooooo happy with how smooth my run went. Thank you for sharing this, my run this morning made me feel energized and happy!
