Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites

I am late to the game with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but since my items arrived this week (and MOST are still available!) I felt compelled to share my favorite finds with you!  Since we are back in Missouri and winter will be WAY colder than it was in Georgia I am trying to build up my fall/winter wardrobe and this was a great opportunity.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Kate Spade New York “Forever” Stud Earrings

Kate Spade 'Forever' Studs

I am obsessed with these earrings.  I have been wearing them to work all week.  You can’t beat a classic pair of studs and these are perfection.

Pleione Bell Cuff High/Low Blouse

_Pleione Bell Sleeve Blouse

I love this blouse so much that I ordered it in a second color!  It is incredibly flattering and is the perfect for both work and play.

KUT from the Kloth “Diana” Stretch Skinny Jeans

Kut from the Kloth Diane

I have gotten a few pairs of KUT from the Kloth pants in my Stitch Fix boxes and really love the fit.  When I saw that these skinny jeans were in the anniversary sale for a better price I jumped at it.  They hug in all the right places.

Two by Vince Camuto Mixed Media V-Neck Tunic

Vinca Camuto Mixed Media Hi Low Blouse

This is a great top for fall and once again is really flattering.  I can just see it with my new Frye boots and jeans with a scarf!

Frye “Melissa Button’ Leather Riding Boot

Frye Melissa Button Riding Boot

These were my big splurge of the sale.  I have been eyeing the Frye boots for YEARS and finally took the plunge.  Since riding boots are my ‘go-to’ in the fall I know these will be worn a ton.  And there was just something about the genuine leather that was amazing.  The best part is that they are so incredibly comfortable!

Two By Vince Camuto Seamed Back Leggings

Vince Camuto Leggings

Do yourself a favor and order these leggings NOW.  They are high waisted which is fabulous for my mom-bod and thick enough that there is no issue with transparency.  They are so soft and truly great quality.

UGG ‘Anjeline’ Knit Cape

UGG Knit Cape

I was back and forth on this sweater and finally bit the bullet and ordered it tonight.  I haven’t gotten it yet but the reviews were good and it looks so warm and comfortable.

BP. Deep V-Neck Pullover

BP V-Neck Pullover

This over-sized sweater is going to be perfect paired with a button up.  I know it will work well with my slim work pants or with skinny jeans and my boots.

There you have it!  Some of my favorites from the sale and as I said they were pretty much ALL available as of last night!  The links do contain affiliate links FYI 😉

Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

It’s been awhile since I shared a fashion post with you guys!  Luckily for me Nordstrom is hosting their half-yearly sale right now and I am excited to share some of my favorite finds with you guys!

Nordstrom Half Yearly Favorites

Ella Moss ‘Bella’ Scoop Neck Tank

I love this tank for summer.  The color is to die for and I love the front.  This will be super cute with denim shorts or white jeans like the model is wearing.

Lush Knit Maxi Dress

Lush Knit Maxi Dress

I scored this dress in blue and I can’t wait for it to get here.  I am a big fan of maxi dresses – you put it on and instantly looked like you put effort into your outfit!  We have a trip back to Savannah in June and this will be the perfect travel dress.

Paige Denim ‘Transcend’ Hoxton High-Rise Ankle Skinny Jeans

Paige Denim Transcend
I put these on my birthday list because I am looking for a good high-rise jean.  This deal is seriously SO good!  I love the Paige Denim that I have so I am hoping these come wrapped up for my 29th in a few weeks.

Franco Sarto ‘Montage’ Leather Sandal

Franco Sarto 'Montage' Leather Sandal
I got these for my trip to Savannah and because I needed a good summer sandal with a bit of a heel.  Everything I currently have is flat and I wanted something a little dressier.  The reviews are great so I am crossing my fingers!

Street Level Stripe Tote

Street Level Stripe Tote
This would be a great carry-all bag for summer!  I am a sucker for stripes and the price on this is pretty sweet.

I am anxiously awaiting my order to get here and can’t wait to put together some new outfits for you with my favorite pieces!  There are still some amazing things available on the Nordstrom website and the sale runs through June 5!

Do you shop the Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale?  What’s your “go-to” fashion piece for the summer?

Stitch Fix #17

You guys … I have no concept of time.  I am not even sure when I got this Stitch Fix (<–affiliate link) but I “think” it was in January.  Like pretty sure.  Regardless life got crazy and I didn’t get a chance with you.  However, since I decided to keep all of it (spoiler) I figured I should!  I can’t believe this my seventeenth Stitch Fix.  I must like it or something 😉

Stitch Fix #17 Button

41Hawthorn – Shara Herringbone Vest ($68)

41Hawthorn - Shara Herringbone Vest

I love this vest.  I know the herringbone vest has been “in” for the last two winters and I am so happy it is.  I actually bought one of these last year but it is no where near so good of quality so I decided to keep this one for longevity.  I have worn it a number of times and seriously love it! (keep)

Mystery – Fred Mixed Material Pullover Sweater ($88)

Mystree - Fred Mixed Material Pullover Sweater

I am loving all the mixed material items this year and this sweater was no exception.  I love how chunky and thick it is but then the femininity also comes out with the chiffon shell underneath.  You can’t tell in the photo but there are actually big slits up the side of the sweater.  I wore the on my trip to Missouri and was quite warm and I know it will serve me well next winter while I freeze there.  (keep)

Kut From the Kloth – Raymond Bootcut Pant ($78)

Kut From the Cloth - Raymoon Bootcut Pant

I haven’t met a pair of pants from Kut from the Kloth that I didn’t like.  This was the first time though that I received a true dress pant from them and I was JUST as happy as my other pants.  These pants are crazy comfortable and super flattering.  There was no way they were going back.  (keep)

Moon Collection – Bailee Cowl Neck Knit Poncho ($58)

Moon Collection - Bailee Cowl Neck Knit Poncho

This was one item I just wasn’t too sure about.  I have never owned a poncho and am kind of indifferent towards the trend.  However, since I was already leaning towards keeping most of my fix I kept an open mind towards it since I would get a discount if I kept everything.  I ended up kind of liking it … I was kind of surprised.  It’s also super comfortable and more flattering than I thought it would be.  (keep)

Market & Spruce – Colibri Polka Dot Print Top ($48)

Market & Spruce - Colibri Polka Dot Print Top

I have a thing for polka dots so it was kind of a no-brainer that this top made its way into my closet once I tried it on and realized it’s flattering too.  (keep)

Overall I actually kept everything in my Fix for the first time ever.  While I wouldn’t say it was 100% spot on it was pretty darn close.  I am thankful to have these pieces as we round out the colder weather here in the south and in anticipation of a much colder winter in the midwest next year.  If you haven’t tried out Stitch Fix before I’d love for you to use my link here –> Try Stitch Fix.  Oh and bonus … one of my sorority sisters from college (my Grand-Big to be exact) is now a stylist! If you ask for Talia you will be SURE to have a great fix 😉

Do you love Stitch Fix?  What’s your take on the mixed media or poncho trends?

November Stitch Fix

Happy Wednesday!  One more day to go until the big GOBBLE GOBBLE!  I only have patients until noon today so I am in the home stretch before a nice long weekend and you are too!  I am excited to share my latest Stitch Fix with you guys today!  I think they have really honed in to what I like which is awesome.  While I didn’t keep everything like I did last month I still was very satisfied with my picks!  You can sign up HERE (<–referral) if you haven’t done it before :)

1. 41Hawthorn / Helix Pullover Sweater / $68 (return)

November Stitch Fix 41Hawthorn Helix Pullover Sweater

I wasn’t a huge fan of this sweater the second I saw it. It was the one big miss of the box for me. I don’t know what it is about it but I felt like it was just too YOUNG for me? I see it on a high schooler for some reason. Definitely sent back.

2. Moon / Rivka Dress / $78 (return)

November Stitch Fix Moon Rivka Dress

I really debated keeping this dress but my budget for this box was tight. The fit was super flattering and I thought the fabric was unique. It came down to this or the skinny pants and I choose the pants.

3. Liverpool / Skinny Ankle Pant $78 (keep)

November Stitch Fix Liverpool Skinny Ankle Pant

OBSESSED. I wear black plants A LOT for work and these ones are perfection. They are long enough for my 5’9 frame and as comfortable as any yoga pants. I wish they were a TAD smaller because they stretch during the day but there was no way I was sending these babies back. Feel like you’re wearing pajamas to work? YES PLEASE.

4. Market & Spruce / Riga Ponte Peacoat Jacket $78 (return)

November Stitch Fix Market & Spruce Riga Ponte Peacoat Jacket

I REALL liked this peacoat and probably would have kept it if I didn’t already have an awesome navy blazer from a Stitch Fix LAST year. Super cute, soft, and extremely flattering.

5. Sweet Romeo / Clarence V-Neck Pullover Sweater $68 (return)

November Stitch Fix Sweet Romeo Clarence V-Neck Pullover Sweater

I was excited what I saw this sweater in the box but was disappointed with how it fit. I would have liked a loose fit with this but it ended up being very tight. Sad to send it back.

Overall I am VERY satisfied with the item I kept. I have already worn the pants like 5 times since they are machine washable. I already scheduled my fix for next month too! Have a great day friends!

PS – I graduate PA school FOUR months from today!!  We’re in the final countdown!

October Stitch Fix

Happy Fri-YAY!  Goodness gracious … this week was a tough one for reasons I can’t get in to on here so I am VERY thankful for a great weekend ahead with my sweet family.  I am also excited to bring you my October Stitch Fix which was winner this month!

October Stitch Fix

1.  Kut from the Kloth // Danny Knit Pant ($78)

October Stitch Fix Kut from the Kloth Danny Knit Pant

I am obsessed with these skinny pants.  They are a stretchy material so they feel like leggings but look like real pants.  Can you say amazing?!  I had pinned these on Pinterest so I was super excited to see them in my fix.  They fit perfectly so they were definitely a keep.

2.  Pixley // Henley Blouse ($68)

October Stitch Fix Pixley Kindley Henley Blouse

I didn’t love this top.  I didn’t hate it either.  It was just somewhere in between.  It fit fine, is a nice material and I love plaid but it was just meh.  I ended up keeping it because it got me my 25% off discount since I wanted everything else.  Keep.

3.  Octavia // Tina Checkered Infinity Scarf ($34)

October Stitch Fix Octavia Tina Checkered Infinity Scarf

Again, I love plaid.  And scarfs.  This was definitely a keep from the moment I opened it out of the box!

4.  Pixley // Bardy Cable Knit Sweater ($74)

October Stitch Fix Pixley Bardy Cable Knit Sweater

This was another Pinterest pin so I was pumped to get it!  I love big, chunky sweaters on cold days and this fits the bill.  It’s comfy and not too bulky.  I love the stripes and it speaks to my preppy heart.  Keep.

5.  Market & Spruce // Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater ($58) October Stitch Fix Market & Spruce Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater
I have been digging the elbow patch sweater look but don’t have any in my wardrobe.  I love a simple black sweater than can be paired with anything.  The patches add a little fun to this one!  Keep.

I ended up keeping my entire Stitch Fix for the first time ever.  My little side business (email me about it!) allowed me to do that this month which is crazy exciting.  I thought it would be fun to put together an entire outfit from my fix for you guys too :)

October Stitch Fix Full Outfit

Super casual, comfortable, and still a little chic!  No mom jeans here 😉  Any-who, happy Friday friends!  I hope you have something planned for the weekend!

Do you use Stitch Fix?  What are you up to this weekend?
